FAQ

If you're interested in offering Cielo Scoops at your restaurant or shop, please send an email to Cara at Cara@CieloScoops.com.

We would be happy to discuss potential partnerships and provide more information.

  • Where did the name Cielo Scoops come from?
    • Cielo means "sky" or "heaven," representing the essential role of sun, rain, and fresh air in plant growth, making our plant-based (vegan) frozen desserts possible. "Scoops" implies ice cream, as we cannot legally call our premium non-dairy plant-based desserts "ice cream." Together, they create Cielo Scoops!
  • Are your products vegan?
    • Yes, all our non-dairy desserts are vegan-friendly. We work closely with suppliers to ensure that our ingredients are vegan and their manufacturing processes remain unchanged. If they do change, we source from a different company.
    • Do you use vegan sugar?
      • Absolutely! We use vegan sugar that is not processed with animal-derived natural charcoal (also known as "bone char").
  • Is Cielo Scoops Healthy?
    • While not a "health" food, Cielo Scoops offers dessert options made with clean, wholesome ingredients that provide bold flavors and the perfect balance of sweetness, texture, and taste. It's a fantastic alternative to dairy ice cream, frozen yogurt, and gelato.
    • Are your non-dairy frozen desserts made with GMO free ingredients?
      • Yes! We work with suppliers to ensure that all our premium ice cream flavors are free of genetically engineered ingredients, as many customers prefer to avoid them.
    • Is your Ice Cream safe for someone with a nut allergy?
      • We offer both nut-free and nut-based flavors. Our strict manufacturing process begins with the least allergenic flavors, followed by thorough sanitization between batches to minimize cross-contamination risks.
    • How should I serve Cielo Scoops Ice Cream?
      • For optimal enjoyment, let the ice cream sit at room temperature for about 5-10 minutes before scooping and serving. This will ensure a softer consistency and allow the full flavor profiles to shine, as colder temperatures can dull our taste buds.
